
Mikihisa Ikeuchi Makiri Knife Shirogami-2 150mm
Makiri are single bevel utility knives used by Japanese fishermen and hunters for processing meat and fish in the field or at sea. They have also found a following with european instrument makers, the thin geometry and superfine grain structure of the white carbon steel makes the blade capable of the incredible sharpness and precision required for this complex woodworking.
These laminated blades are made of Shirogami-2 carbon steel and iron ground with a single bevel geometry for right-handed use. Comes with a vinyl sheath for storage.
Please note these knives are not suitable for cutting through bone.
