Drop forged using Sg Strix core, clad in damascus stainless and hardened to approximately 67HRC, this Hammered collection has a textured surface to reduce food sticking to the blade and a stepped grind for superior cutting performance and food release, Aogami super is the highest performance traditional carbon steel. The Japanese traditional octagonal handle are well finished and very comfortable in the hand, the scales are made from rosewood.
