Makoto Kurosaki Sakura SG2 Petty Knife 135mm
Makoto Kurosaki and his brother Yu are internationally renowned for their craftsmanship. This new series SAKURA is a San-Mai construction with a core of SG2 powdered steel at approximately 63/65 HRC.
This series is extremely thin, effectively a laser grind so quite like the Kotetsu series by Takayuki Shibata making it perfect for precision cutting. This line has a great standard of fit and finish throughout with a lightweight nimble feel to it. As the blades come with an unusually thin edge geometry, we recommend taking extra care when using this series. The octagonal handle is made from American cherry with a Pakka wood ferrule.
