Sanyo 3-Sided Whetstone with Wooden Stand
This 3-sided whetstone with a wooden stand is a comprehensive set up ideal for sharpening, thinning, and repairing both knives and tools. The grey side is 250 grit, ideal for starting repairs as it will quickly remove steel. The red side is 1000 grit, this medium grit is ideal for touch ups or for finishing western cutlery as it leaves a toothy edge. The white side is 4000 grit, this finishing grit is ideal for polishing and refining the edges of Japanese cutlery.
This stone is splash and go and should not be soaked for prolonged periods. Its best to store the stone away from direct sunlight and cold drafts.
