KNIFE SHARPENING CLASS (DOUBLE BEVEL/RYOBA WITH JAPANESE LAMINATED STEEL) <90MINS>
We offer the basics of a double-bevel knife sharpening on whetstones at our covent garden store!
Each session will be 90 minutes and held for up to 3 customers with our main sharpener HAYATO!

<What you need to bring?>
- your Japanese laminated double-bevel knife/knives (Damascus, san-mai, warikomi structure only) (eg: Gyuto/chef knife, Santoku etc)
- your whetstones and accessory (required at least #1000 grid) *you can purchase with us during the class too!
- Towels if possible
- Photo ID

-characteristic of Japanese knives
-why it is better to sharpen knives (advantage)
-when you need to sharpen (timing, frequency etc)
-what equipments you need
-difference of numbers/materials of whetstones
-cleaning whetstones and sharpening tools
& OF COURSE how to sharpen your knife including how to hold a knife, what angles you need to keep,,, and more!!
NOTE: Participants must be over 18 years old and who make the booking.
