A perfect harmony between practicality and performance. The high carbon VG-1 core has been cladded in soft stainless for ease of resharpening. This San-Mai series is thin behind the edge giving it great cutting performance, the primary grind is asymmetrical with a sandblasted Kasumi finish drawing the eye to the lamination line where the Hagane (hard steel) meets the Jigane (soft cladding).
This is one of our most popular series with newcomers to Japanese cutlery as its both a balanced performance knife that is attractively finished.
