This extra-large Sigma stone fixer is ideal for the sharpening enthusiast as its size and hard bond are well suited for flattening multiple stones in a single sitting. We recommend you soak the Sigma for at least 10 minutes before each use, you place the fixer on a tea towel or cloth with the channel side facing up then grind flat your dished stone on top of it using circular movements with pressure, periodically you should rotate the stone you are flattening to prevent it from becoming lopsided.
