Terms of Hairdressing Scissors Sharpening Services

Scissors Sharpening and Repair Policy

We take great care in sharpening and repairing your valued scissors with the utmost dedication.
We kindly ask for your understanding of the following terms and conditions.

As a general rule, we ask that the owner personally brings in and collects the scissors. We regret that we cannot accept responsibility for any misunderstandings or issues arising from communication via a third party.

After inspection, if we determine that repair is not possible, the scissors may be returned in their current condition. In such cases, no charge will be incurred.

The following items may be declined after inspection: curved scissors, overseas-manufactured products, items with colour coatings, patterns or decorative finishes, vintage or second-hand items, scissors in severely poor condition due to rust, as well as other special or unconventional products.

We may be unable to accept left-handed scissors manufactured by other companies or rare scissors for which replacement items cannot be provided in the event of damage.
(In such cases, we may offer an equivalent or similar product from our own range as a substitute.)

To ensure customer satisfaction, we sharpen scissors using the minimum amount of material necessary in order to preserve their original shape. However, if there are issues such as chips, damage or rust, repair will take priority and the final shape may differ from the original.

We are unable to accept complaints based on subjective assessments, such as claims that the shape has changed significantly.

If any parts (such as screws) are found to be defective, they will be replaced. Additional charges for replacement parts may apply.

Please note that engraved markings, including name engravings, may fade or disappear during the sharpening process depending on their position and depth.

Should any defects or issues be found after sharpening or repair, please contact us immediately after collection (no later than within 7 days). We will provide re-sharpening or repair free of charge.
