This collection of thinning scissors is designed to meet the standards of the most demanding hairdresser and are produced by one of Japan's very best scissor makers in Nigata prefecture, their thinning scissors are regarded as the best in Japan. All of the processes from the precision forging, grinding, polishing, and hand honing are done in their factory. The steel used in these scissors is a premium Japanese steel ATS-314 made by Hitachi Metals, this steel is produced in a similar way to the famous Tamahagane used in the Japanese sword by smelting iron sand. The hand finished edge on these scissors gives them an action unlike anything most stylists have ever experienced.
