i-ru NAMBU CAST IRON ENAMEL POT 2.0L (TETSUGURO)
Nambu cast iron + Ho-ro (enamel) = "i-ru"
"i-ru" takes its name from the Japanese word iru (cast).
Nambu cast iron is a traditional speciality product representing Morioka and Oshu in Iwate prefecture. Even today, it continues to inherit time-honoured techniques while incorporating the latest technology, with each piece carefully crafted by hand.
It is a cast-iron enamel pot, created by applying a glass-based enamel coating to Nambu cast iron. This coating requires extremely advanced skill. Through collaboration, for the first time in Japan, they achieved coloured enamel finishes on cast-iron pots.
