Bunka, Hakata, & Funayuki

Bunka is also medium sized multi-purpose home cooking knives same as Santoku knife.

Primarily used for vegetables and fish. These knives are generally flatter than Gyuto knives. Since they are flatter, the wrist is in a more natural position and the shoulder does not require as much room to cut. There are one of most popular knives in most Japanese homes.
