Mino ware (a.k.a Mino yaki in Japanese) is a ceramic ware which is produced in Gifu prefecture, Japan. It has a long history and tradition from Azuchi-momoyama era (1568-1600). What makes Mino yaki special is their wide variety of pottery. Mino ware has over 15 types of pottery as traditional crafts instead of a single style.
Kouzangama creats a wide range of pottery with five types of clays, thrity types of glazes, and thirteen types of decorative clay together with each craftsman's particular techniques.
