Oul Shirogami-1 Stainless clad Santoku 165mm Keyaki / Zelkova Handle
This product is made from Shirogami-1 (White carbon steel-1) which is produced in Yasugi city, Shimane prefecture, historically famous for "wako" (Japanese steel) production. This steel contains the highest proportion of carbon and difficult to forge. Therefore, only a small number of blacksmiths can handle the steel.
