Kichiji Josaku Yanagiba 270mm Rosewood Wood D Shape Handle
The translation of Yanagiba is willow leaf edge referring to the distinctive shape which was developed in the Kansai area of Japan during the Edo period. Hammer forged in Yasuki Shirogami No2 clad with soft iron with a Magnolia and Buffalo horn handle. This knife is made in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, renowned to produce single bevel knives.
